Abstract :
The selective catalytic reduction of NO by C3H6 in an oxidizing atmosphere has been studied over View the MathML source. The activities of View the MathML source strongly depended on the preparation method of the YPO4 support. Nonporous YPO4 obtained from yttrium nitrate and phosphoric acid by the urea method was found to be the most active support. View the MathML source was characterized by XRD, XPS, EXAFS and TEM analyses. Boron addition generated highly dispersed Pt, which shows higher activities for simultaneous removal of CO, C3H6 and NO than View the MathML source. The particle size of Pt on View the MathML source is smaller than 3 nm even after calcination at 873 K. In contrast, no drastic change in activity and particle size for conventional Pt catalyst supported on Al2O3 or SiO2 was observed.
