Modeling of bleaching wave regime of UV laser polymerization of acrylates without initiators

Recently the effect of bleaching wave ultraviolet (UV) laser radical polymerization of several acrylates without initiators was observed. In the present communication, an analytical model of this phenomenon is constructed. The effect of auto-acceleration of the rate of polymerization on the profile and propagation velocity of the polymerization wave is discussed.
