Abstract
In the present study, dietary requirement of each of 10 indispensable amino acids for sobaity juvenile via using amino acid deletion method will be determined. This fish species has a high trade worth and is one of the most popular aquaculture fish species in Persian Gulf countries. This research was lasted 42 days with Sobaity sebream juvenile (4/7 ± 0/01 g), using 12 dietary treatments consist of two control diets. The main source of protein for the first control (FM) diet was Kilka fishmeal while 60% of protein source in the second control diets (FMAA) was kilka fish meal but other %40 was replaced by mixture of crystalline amino acids with the same amino acids profile of Kilka fish meal. Other 10 experimental diets were made by %40 reduction of one essential amino acid from FMAA in each diet and replaced by the same amount of the mixture of non essential amino acids. Each experimental diet has been named by the sam amino acid has been reduced by 40%. According to the results the most limited essential amino acids for Sobaity seabrem was lysine, methionine and threonine respectively. Comparison of N retention between experimental and FMAA control diets indicated that the optimum dietary requirement of essential amino acids (g 16g-1 N) were: Argenine 4.39, lysine 7.38, Threonine 4.79. Histidine 2.24, Isoleucine 3.71, Leucine 6.03, Methionine 2.95, phenylalanine 3.08, Tryptophan 0.82 and Valine 3.99. Also fish fed lysine, threonine and phenylalanine diets showed lowest blood erythrocyte numbers and hemoglobin content (P < 0.05). Except of fish fed phenylalanine-limited diet, blood plasma and total protein were decreased in all the experimental diets (P< 0.05). Plasma alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase factors were highest in fish fed the arginine-limited diet (P< 0.05). Furthermore fish fed arginine- and lysine-limited diets exposed the lowest plasma C3, C4, lysozyme, total immunoglobulin and total superoxide dismutase activity (P< 0.05). Results of the present study also indicated that lysine, methionine and threonine are the most limiting EAA for thegrowth performance; while arginine, threonine and lysine are the most limiting EAA for innate immunity responses in silvery-black porgy juvenile.
