Following the new circumstances, a debate has emerged as to whether Americaיs commitments and presence abroad should be reduced in response to the decline in the threat to US interests and limitations on American resources.1 In other words, in the new international situation, the question was what kind of strategy should the US adopt? There has been a big debate in the United States about this question. This paper aims to analyze the various views on this issue.
