Production oftitanium aluminides in TiOrAI-Ca system has been investigated. For this י
purpose, different compositions of raw materials were studied in a spec ial reaction vessel. In a
special case, the non-completed reaction of Ti02 with Al and Ca resulted in the production of
granulates oftitanium aluminides especially Ti~1 and other Ti - Al phases as the metallic product
and CaI2AI/40 ]] as the non-metallic product. Remelting ofmetallic granulates led to production of
TiAI ingot .
