We describe two patients of the Department of Medicine at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, Muscat, Oman, with Cushingיs disea se. Their magneti c resonance imagin g scans of the pitui tary were negative . One patient was treated by t ranssphenoidal surgery and th e other by bilater al end oscopic adrenalectomy, Both procedu res were successful and the patients cur ed. The advantages and disad vantages of these two approac hes are discussed.
