The perf ect method for breast reconstruction would be safe, reliable, reproducible,
applicable 0 a ll pc t i~n s, and would have 110 donor site morbidity. The ideal
re constructed br est wou ld provide symmetric, pe rmanent, and natural results.
here has been development and refi nement of autogenous method s of breast
reconstru ction throu qhout til ll ter orure. The TRAM flap remain s the most popula r
method of aulog 10US r nconst etion. This popularity is due to the relative ease with
whic rhe proc dur is arforrned but it has its own drawbacks. Other procedures
include: Deep inf erior ep ig o ric a ery perforator f1api free flaps (free TRAM
Japi f ree יSuperior gluteal myocuta neous fl ap); pedicled lattisimu s dorsi flap, etc.
W e hove reconstr cted rhe breast in I m patients after mastectomy with a different
techniq ue which is cutaneoglo ndulo r f lop from the cont ro lo tero l normal breast. It
as he odvontoge of using norrnol br east tissue fo r reconstruction in addition to
red uct io of po ssible la rge breast the patient may have. It is almo st without
donor site morbidity nd I ere is no nee d to reposition the patient intraoperatively.
I is osrly ed when the pat ient is reluctant to undergo a big operation. This

In this p eper, pctlents are presented who have undergone contralateral
cutoneouqlondulor fl op wi an inferio r p edicle and free nipple graft technique
with Fairly satisfactory results.
