This study proposes a way of examining user interest based on the web pages accessed. Clustering these clients into interest groups so as to help in customized servicing and the service that has to be provided them is configured is discussed. The implementation aspects of web client clustering using prefetching and socket clone methods are presented. The utilization of various clusters is measured based on the number of accesses on the clusters by various clients.
