In this research, a geomorphological hydrologic mode l is developed and analyzed which is based on distr ibuted flow routing and linear reservoirs cascade. In this model, the sub-basins output hydrog raphs have
been calculated by Nashיs black box model, considering the geomorphological properties of the sub-basins; then the obtained hydrographs have been routed throug h the main channe l using the non-l inear kinematics wave mode l. The two most important characteristics of the mode l are: (a) it exp licitly includes the waters hed morph ology in the formu lation and (b) it depends on only one uncertain parameter which must be calibrated.
The result of the model has been compare d with Nashיs black box model and another gemorpho logical model i.e., SCS, for Ammameh watershed in centra l Iran . Combination of a non-linear distributed routing mode l
(i.e., kinematics wave) and a linear lumped rainfall-runoff model (i.e., Nashיs model) causes the proposed mode l to be a proper runoff routing model.
