چكيده عربي :
يوسف السباعي (1917-1978) أديب مصري كتب قصصاً قصيرة وروايات ومقالات نقدية، ولكنّه تميّز بمزاج الفنان الحقيقي فهو من جهة أمضى حياته محافظا على حريته الشخصية ومن جهة أخرى قام بواجبه تجاه الوطن من خلال كتاباته لينقذ وطنه من كل آثار الاحتلال البريطاني حيناً وليطهره حيناً آخر من رواسب الفساد والاستغلال. وقد كتب اثنتي وعشرين قصة وخمس عشرة رواية وأربع مسرحيات غير مقالات نقدية نشرها، وأول رواية نشرها عام 1947م، هي رواية "نائب عزرائيل، وفي هذه المقالة ندرس شخصية يوسف السباعي على ضوء المنهج الوصفي- التحليلي وعلى أساس آراء ماسلو، كما ندرس رواية "نائب عزرائيل" ليوسف السباعي، دراسة نفسية معتمدين على هرم ماسلو للحاجات الإنسانية، وذلك لنتعرف من خلال هذا البحث إلى شخصية الكاتب من جهة، ونتعمّق في رواية نائب عزرائيل وشخصياتها ولاسيما بطل الرواية من خلال هرم ماسلو، لنرى كيف تتجلّى الحاجات الإنسانية في هذه الرواية، وحسب مدارج هذا الهرم هل يصل بطل الرواية إلى تحقيق الذات. ومن النتائج التي توصّلنا إليها أنّ شخصية يوسف السباعي يمكن اعتبارها شخصية محققة لذاتها، وأنّ بطل الرواية في رواية نائب عزرائيل يفشل في مرحلة تحقيق الذات، رغم أنّه كان ملمّاً بمعالمها وواقفاً بكلّ زواياها. وبالنسبة للرواية لاحظنا أنّ الحاجات الإنسانية الرئيسة التي أدرجها ماسلو في هرم الحاجات، قد تمّ توظيفها فيها وقد ركز عليها الكاتب في الأغلب من خلال بطل الرواية؛ فوجدنا جميع هذه الحاجات تفرض نفسها على الشخصية حسب الموقف، وهي الحاجات الفسيولوجية، الحاجة إلى الأمن، الحاجة إلى الانتماء والحب، حاجات التقدير، والحاجة إلى تحقيق الذات، إلّا أنّه رغم ظهور الحاجة إلى تحقيق الذات في بطل الرواية، لم يتمكن هذا البطل أن يجتاز مرحلة تحقيق الذات مع أنّه كشف بعض الحقائق كحقيقة الموت وكانت فيه رغبة شديدة في أن تكون القيم العليا سائدة في البلد.

Youssef al-Sabaei (1917-1978) Egyptian Literary character wrote short stories, novels and critical essays, but he was characterized by the mood of the real artist. On the one hand, he spent his life preserving his personal freedom. On the other hand, he performed his duty towards the homeland through his writings to save his homeland from all traces of the British occupation. and to cleans it another period of corruption and exploitation. He wrote twenty-two stories and fifteen novels and four plays not published critical articles, and the first novel published in 1947, is the novel the successor of Ezraiel, and in this article we examine the character of Youssef al-Sabaei based on Maslow's views, as we study Naeb Ezraiel novel , A psychological study based on the Maslow pyramid of human needs, and let us identify through the research on the character of the writer on the one hand, and deepen in the story of the Deputy Naeb Ezraiel novel. and its characters, especially the protagonist of the novel through the pyramid Maslow, to see how human needs are reflected in this novel, and according to the runways of this pyramid does the protagonist reach self-realization. One of our findings is that the character of Youssef al-Sabaei can be seen as a self-fulfilling figure, and that the protagonist in the story of the successor of Ezraiel fails in the realization stage, even though he was aware of its features and stood in all its angles.
