The objective of this research is to show the importance and the value of integrating “German”as a foreign language for students of English (Licence d’Anglais) at the University of Ouargla and themultilingualism at the Algerian society and University. This contribution will explore the similarities(especially lexical similarities) between “English” and “German” and the origins of these languagesthat are part of the same family, and also similarities between English- Arabic- and Tamazight.
