دراسة قياسية لعلاقة الصادرات بالنمو الاقتصادي في الجزائر (1966-2015)

The aim of this research is to determine the nature of the causality relationship between the exports andthe growth Economic in Algeria during the period 1966-2015 using yearly data. This relationship is obtainedusing granger causality techniques. The analysis of the results show that the exports and the gross domesticproduct series become stationary after taken the first different; also there is not co-integration relationshipbetween exports and gross domestic product in long run. The causality tests based on VAR indicate that there isa uni-directional causality relationship running from export at s to gross domestic product in both the long andshort run. And The results of the variance decompositions and the impulse response functions high light therelative important role played by exports in the fluctuation of the GDP. This result coincides of the causalrelationship that runs from the exports to gross domestic product in Algeria which reflects the promising role ofexports in the future in determining the growth rate of the economy.
