The purpose of this study was aimed to investigate the relationship between the financing decisionbased on the optimal funds choice, and the firm’s market value. Since the primary objective of thefirm’s financial management is to maximize its value in the stock market and minimize the total costof financing, it also, aims to maintaining the wealth of the stockholder’s and increasing the profits ofits stakeholder’s. Thus, before making any financial decision, we should know its effect on the firm’svalue.To achieve the purpose mentioned above, the companies which are listed in Malaysianstock exchangewere selected, over the period 2005-2016; where the data was collected using Thomson Reuter’sfinancial DataStream, to retrieve global financial data. This data collected was sorted, cleaned andorganized using stata.14. Through appropriate statistical tools, which included descriptive statisticsand the regression model.
