This study aims to measure and analyze the phenomenon of faltering in Algerian banking system , and thenfind out the methods that work on the effective management of this problem and to achieve this studythat wasdivided into theoretical and practical sides . It turned out in the framework of theoretical analysis to theproblem of managing the banking tripping require concerted and integration of a range of methods andstrategies , and banking governance is the most important of these methods and mechanisms used for theprevention of this phenomenon and avoid occurrence.The study of the practical side indicated that the stumble management methodology in the Algerianbanking system is limited to the functions of each of the Banking Committee by initial taking preventivemeasures (banking governance) to ensure the continued activity of the bank, and disciplinary action when thenote of irregularities or evidence of a serious error which leadsTo require an approval of troubled bank liquidation; such as, what happened with the Caliph Bank andIndustrial and Commercial Bank of Algeria. In addition to apply the decisions and the work of the BaselCommittee, which represents an important opportunity to lay the foundations for sound corporate governancein banks and financial institutions requirements, in order to provide a safe banking practices and reasonablecontribute to support financial stability and banking in Algeria.
