Investigation of Social Factors Leading to Language Change

This paper provides an overview of the theories tackle language change and the social factors differently affecting language leading to modification in different streams of life. The significance of this topic is the high relation and contact of language to the life of communities, the overlapping, joining, and sometimes the degradations of certain words or forms as a result of movements, immigration, or technology interference as it is shown in this paper. It could be concluded that immigration, technology, and communication affect the process of change more than other factors for the great impact they have in changing not only language but also traditions, thoughts, and behaviors; thus language affects all life streams and not only the verbal ones.
