This article explored the existing learning environment to enhance creativity as an integral component of 21st century skills that our students need to acquire in order to compete with other students in global setting. The article tried to answer the following main question: What changes do we need to implement to boost creativity? The main answer to this question derived from real classroom setting and experienced chemistry and physics educators. The article approached teaching science from the perspective of creativity and its relation to inquiry based learning. These methods include means of teaching such as Inquiry Based Learning, teaching outside the textbook where the book becomes a reference and not the curriculum, also accepting unexpected answers from their students and build on it to deliver knowledge. The findings highlighted the importance of teaching science in a way that can affect students understanding and attitudes toward science in a positive way. It shaded the light on the relationship between Inquiry Based Learning and the 21st Century skills.
