The aim of the present study is to improve listening comprehension by using interactive listeningactivities depending on the reciprocal teaching strategies by the teacher. The researcher followed theexperimental design into which she has randomly chosen a sample being selected from the fifthpreparatory stage in Al-Thawra preparatory school for girls. The researcher divided the sample into twogroups, experimental and control, each of which includes 30 students. The researcher pretested the twogroups. Then, she applied the reciprocal listening activities on the experimental group and theprescribed way with the control group, and the researcher taught the two groups to avoid the teachervariable. After completing the second semester, the researcher post-tested the two groups to measurethe difference in the progress.The results obtained from the statistical data of the present study proves that there is animprovement in the students’ listening comprehension skill for the experimental group students whichmeans that reciprocal listening activities do have an effect on students’ listening comprehension.
