This research tries to present types of banquets and potteries, descriptively, through the text of the Pre- Islam (Jahiliyah) Arabic poetry, and the spread presented by the Jahiliyon to their guests, and in their family gatherings; the research presents a variety of these banquets that include meats, fats, grains, dates, fruits and honey, etc. Then the research displays the ornaments and pots that the Arabs used to eat in, like aljafan, almagari, and other plates and instruments. The research aims to shed light on the cultural life-style before Islam. The Arabs were skilled in food preparation and in making banquet displays which elaborates to the researcher level of art and development that Arabs enjoyed in the Pre Islamic Era.And as poetry is the registry of the Arabs, recording minutes of their lives and describes their various living styles: the research is committed to what was stated in the texts of pre-Islamic poetry. It does not resort to history books or news or biographies, or dictionaries, unless there is evidence of the pre Islamic poetry to that pots and banquets in the lives of Arabs that were rooted in their social life and were reflected in their poetry during Pre-Islam. The research studies, the types of ornaments and banquets in the pre-Islamic poetry through a humanitarian context associated with them, and it does not depict them individually, as the in dictionaries and encyclopedias.
