In this research, we have discussed and analyses the local climate of the city of Najaf and we compared it with the surrounding areas .we found that there is difference in the climate values between them. This is because of the difference of the geographical elements affecting each of the city of najaf and the surrounding areas This research paid attention to how to lessen the temperature and the speed of the winds and the sand storms. Was proved that that the green belt has. A vital role in making the continental climate which is dry and hot to more cool.
