چكيده عربي :
يعني هذا البحث بدراسة الرؤيا ومدي تأثيرها في حركة التاريخ العربي الإسلامي، ذلك أن الرؤيا قد لعبت دورا مهما في صناعة الكثير من أحداث التاريخ، وأثرت في مجرياتها، كما أنها شغلت حيزا كبيرا من اهتمامات المجتمع الإسلامي وتفكيرهم، ولازالت أثارها باقية إلى يومنا هذا، بل أن كثيرا من المخترعات والمعطيات الحضارية اليوم لم تكن بالأمس إلا نوعا من الحلم والخيال ربما كانت تراود الإنسان ويسعى إلى تحقيقها على الواقع العملي. ولعل ما كتب عن الرؤيا في التأريخ العربي الإسلامي لم يتناول ألا الجوانب الدينية منه، ولم يتطرق إلى تأثيرها في صناعة الكثير من الأحداث التاريخية ولم يتناول جوانبها المعنوية والنفسية وتأثيرها على الجمهور. لذلك فأن موضوع الرؤيا بوصفها محركا لأحداث التاريخ، لم يكتب عنه دراسة علمية على النطاق الأكاديمي من هذه المدة، إذ لم يلق هذا الموضوع الاهتمام الكبير الذي لاقته حقول البحث التاريخي الأخرى. وقد تناولت هذه الدراسة الرؤيا في صدر الإسلام، عصر الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم، الخلفاء الراشدين، وهي تختلف كثيرا في مواضيعها ودوافعها وأهدافها عن العصور الإسلامية الأخرى، وذلك بظهور دولة بني أمية ودولة بني العباس اللتان أخذتا بنظام الوراثة في الحكم وظهور الأمارات المحلية، وتنوع المجتمع الإسلامي من عرب وفرس وترك وبربر وغيرهم من الأجناس وما رافق ذلك ظهور الفرق والمذاهب الفقهية والأحزاب السياسة والطرق الصوفية، هذا فضلا عن تغير الحياة وتبلور الحضارة العربية الإسلامية وامتزاج الثقافات المختلفة وتنوع الحياة وظهور المؤسسات وبناء المدن والمستوطنات الحضرية، فمن الطبيعي أن تكون تأثيرات وتفسيرات الرؤى في مثل هذا المجتمع مختلفة عن سابقاتها، لأنها تمثل انعكاسا لهذه المعطيات الحضارية الجديدة، بل أن الرؤى عند الصوفية في العصر العباسي ربما تصلح أن تكون موضوعا لبحث آخر، وذلك أن الرؤى عندهم قد شكلت جزءا مهما من حياتهم واهتماماتهم وطقوسهم، إذ بقيت الرؤيا الإلهام الإلهي الذي يربطهم بالسماء. لذلك فإن باب الرؤيا والخوض فيه يبقى مفتوحا لدراسات أخرى قد تكون أعم واشمل. ونظرا لسعة الموضوع الذي نحن بصدده وتشعبه اقتصرت دراستي هذه على فترة صدر الإسلام والدولة الأموية والدولة العباسية حتى بداية العصر البويهي، لأن العصرين البويهي والسلجوقي بالإضافة إلى العصر الأيوبي والفاطمي كانت يمكن أن تشكل مادة علمية لا تقل أهمية عن فترة الدراسة.
