This article comes within the framework of the rooting of contemporary Islamic thought through researching the intellectual foundations of one of its media, the Algerian thinker Malik Bennabi, who received a significant share of academic study in its various forms, but the research on its intellectual originality was not of the same degree of interest. It prompted me to research this subject, the rapprochement that I found between him and the French thinker Gustave Le Bon, which is so intense and clear that we can say that the latter represents one of the important sources in the philosophy of civilization for our thinker, and this is what we are working to explain by revealing the points of agreement between them.
