The interest in the reader constituted a prominent turning point in the history of literary and critical thought, and this interest resulted in a very important issue, which is the issue of the interaction between the text and the reader; As this issue has become the focus of attention of researchers and critics of different intellectual backgrounds, we are now living in the “age of reading” par excellence; Where the theory of reception contributed to the promotion of literary and critical discourse by opening wide horizons and spaces in reading, which ensures the survival and prosperity of the text, and from here contemporary critics bypassed the obvious question - which was the basis for the emergence of the theory of reception - who perceives the text? Who writes the creator? To know how to read and this calls for talking about the patterns of readers and reading, and this is what I tried to clarify in this study.
