Algeria knows, like other countries, an electoral system that controls the rules of access to the legislative and executive authorities, and given the characteristics of this system of giving the administration the lion’s share in supervising the electoral process, there was a lot of talk on every electoral date about the suitability of this system to the political situation in Algeria, Hence the demand for the need to reform this system in order to ensure the achievement of the basic purpose of the electoral process, as well as to ensure the protection of the parties to the electoral process. The jurists and legal commentators are unanimously agreed that the best legal way to achieve this is to follow the principle of judicial supervision, due to the independence and preservation of the judiciary. The basic rights of all members of society, which is what achieves fair elections, far from fraud and expressive of the opinions of all voters. But the dilemma that arises: What are the mechanisms for making the judiciary supervising the electoral process in Algeria?
