محاولة في تاصيل مفهوم الاصلاح السياسي

In the last decade, the field of political science has witnessed a noticeable increase in interest in issues of democracy and political reform, and with it the need to control concepts and terminology related to the subject of political transformations witnessed by regimes in the Arab region has increased. It is mainly due to the confusion caused by the lack of cognitive control of many of the basic concepts that are usually used synonymously. The aim of this study is to contribute to the academic effort aimed at defining and consolidating the key concepts in the field of political science and social sciences in general, by studying the different dimensions of the concept of political reform, beginning with a search for linguistic meanings, then dealing with the epistemological connotations of the term, leading to its distinction from Other similar concepts, such as democratization, modernization, and development.
