This study dealt with the role of dialogue in warding off conflict from an Islamic perspective, explaining the role played by globalization in terms of rapprochement and overlap between civilizations and the resulting conflicts and disputes. The study defined the concept of conflict contained in several implications, including the clash of civilizations - cultures and the conflict of borders and others. It is the result of a conflict of power in interests between groups and peoples by adopting incompatible goals. Conflict is as old as man on earth and has expanded from local communities to global communities. The study also touched on the methods of conflict science and explained them.
