الثورة الليبية شباط 2011- 2013 الخصوصية و تحديات المرحلة الانتقالية

The study deals with one of the revolutions of the Arab spring era, namely The Libyan Revolution in mid Feb. of 2011. This revolution was influenced to a great extent, by the big Arab revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt. There were also many sim ilar causing factors between these three revolutions which were sparked by the suffering of the people on the hands their tyrant regimes and corrupted governments. In spite of the many similarities between these three revolutions in terms of the causes and features, never the less, the Libyan revolution was of a distant nature in many aspects. This can be seen by looking at the natural environment in which the Libyan revolution broke out and the discrepancies between the large natural oil resources of the country and the low living standards of the citizens which was similar to the poorest countries. The Libyan revolution was also distinct in its transformation from a peaceful revolution into a military revolution and the occurrence of massacres that led to the intervention of international powers to protect the civilians. The study also shows that as a result of the absence of an experiences and traditional governmental establishment the revolution faced a critical situation after the break down of the region. Many security, political, economical and social challenges have risen that made the revolution unable to continue until the ambitions and aspirations of the people are achieved. These ambitions concerned gaining freedom, justice, and security, and to establish a state of low and modern government system. These facts, have at the same time, pushed the revolution to digress towards civil war.
