In recent decades, many experts and international bodies have drawn attention to the significant effects that international migration can have on development, and stressed the need to control and manage the phenomenon of migration in a manner that serves the goals and development goals of society on the one hand, and preserves the dignity and rights of the immigrant on the other hand. This did not meet with great resonance in Algeria except in recent years, where the official discourse began to care about the dignity and rights of immigrants, their competencies and capabilities, and the costs of immigration and its repercussions on the interests of the country. Migration and its issues are integrated into the development path in Algeria, which we will try to analyze and evaluate by determining the nature of the relationship between migration and development in the source countries, analyzing and evaluating the reality of managing this relationship in Algeria, and the most important procedures and policies seeking to make migration in the service of development and the Algerian immigrant, and suggesting what can His proposal to make this policy more effective, taking advantage of international experiences and the recommendations of the various reports on this subject.
