This study aimed to face the right statement in the statement of the status of Yousef's brothers – may Allah be peace upon him-, are they prophets or righteous ? The reported sayings of those who say the prophethood of Yousef's brothers - may Allah be peace upon him-, and their evidence, as well as sayings of those who say that no prophecy of Yousef's brothers – may Allah be peace upon him – and after discussing the statements, the researchers show that the majority of scholars say that no prophecy of Yousef's brothers – may Allah be peace upon him – and the reason for that refers to many factors, such as: 1. The absence of not having an evidence mentioned in the Qur'an and the Suna which shows their condition. 2. Their difference in the meaning of Aspat who were mentioned in the Qur'an in more than one place of the book of Allah. 3. Yousef's brothers' – may Allah be peace upon him - committing some sins and offenses against Allah and their father Yaqub and their brother Yousef may Allah be peace upon them.
