Al-Bukhari’s Al-Ishari weakness in the light of the translations of Al-Jami’ Al-Sahih

This paper shows Al-Bukhari’s skill for the insinuation of Hadith weakening and the provision of a certain explanation through hidden references, which are included in his book ‘Al-Jamaa Al-Sahih’. In his explanation, Al-Bukhari drops a hint to a certain Hadith weakening. This paper has revealed the secrets behind Al-Bukhari's reference weakening by insinuation. Such a style is adopted by Al-Bukhari as it is one of the rules of judging Hadiths and is considered as one main means of Hadith explanation. The paper also reveals that summary and hidden hints are the most significant properties of reference weakening. Al-Bukhari’s reference weakening styles are various. He sometimes uses the same weak Hadith, the Quranic verse, the prophet’s companions and followers’ explanation, or he mentions the opposite, established version of the weak Hadith.
