This paper dealt with the preservation of the identity of the Arabic language and its culture, which is of great importance to the lives of millions. It has religious and cultural dimensions to deal with it among millions of people who use it in various fields such as worship, education, commerce, and tourism. It is used by the universities and schools in Malaysia either as a means of teaching the Islamic studies of Fiqh (jurisprudence), Tafseer (interpretation), Hadith and the principles of religion or as a foreign or second language in other subjects. The research follows the inductive and historical approach to track the contribution of the country of Malaysia and its interest in this language, and how it adopts the means to preserve this language, which is confirmed by the State, as a language of Islamic civilization and as a language of the Islamic religion. In addition, Malaysia continues to use Arabic calligraphy in its writing, called Javanese, and is linked to the cultural dimension that has a significant impact on lexical borrowing and the continuation of political and cultural relations with the Arab world.
