This study aims at spotlighting one of the contemporary Arab poetic scenery facets represented in the emergence of elitism phenomenon, to highlight its limits as well as its forms, rationales, emergence and results and to foresee its short and long terms effects on the scenery. It tries to achieve its objective through using a group of critical tools that meet the partialities of the treatment. Generally, it concludes that elitism phenomenon in the poetic scenery is represented by anxiety image faced by the reality of the contemporary Arabic poetry and that there are practices which intensify rupture among the poles of the scenery and become a source of transformations which may afflict the essence of the poetic creativity, deepen the recession and degradation status faced by the contemporary Arabic poem.
