Quranic readings and their impact in the context of Quranic stories The story of the Companions of the Cave as a model

This study deals with the impact of the different readings in the context of Quranic stories in the story of the Companions of the Cave. Among the most prominent findings of the study: that the difference in the Qur’anic readings is a difference of diversity, not a difference of contradiction, and that each reading of them reveals and adds a new meaning. The different readings also showed the splendor and beauty of the Qur'anic stories through the new meanings it added to the story of the Companions of the Cave. The study sheds light on the greatness of the Noble Qur’an through the diversity of readings and the unique and unparalleled miraculous statement that emerged from it. The study also revealed some linguistic and graphic aspects in the story of the Companions of the Cave. Keywords: readings, Quranic stories, interpretation.
