This research deals with an important issue of the sciences of the Qur’an, which is the effect of the Qur’anic context on the meanings through the interpretation of Abi Hayyan, so the principles of the subject were collected in it, so that it does not become distracted; The fact that this study is an applied theory, and highlighted Imam Abu Hayyan’s interest in the context’s significance to the meanings, explicitly and implicitly, and it was found that he - may God have mercy on him - carefully considers the sequence of verses and notes the closest to the meaning, weighting it and indicating it, and the results indicated that Abu Hayyan took the Qur’an’s balance with it The views of the commentators who preceded it in clarifying the meaning, so it accepts the opinions that are consistent with the context, and rejects what contradicts it.
