This research aims to study the sayings of the exegetes, ancient and modern, regarding the meaning of the exception contained in the two verses of Surat Hud (except what your Lord wills), and discussing them according to the principles and rules of interpretation; In order to arrive at the most correct opinion in this regard, the researchers used to achieve the objectives of the research: the inductive approach, the analytical approach, and the critical approach. After in-depth study of the various sayings, this research has reached several results, including: that many of these statements do not rise to the level of acceptance, let alone the preponderance; For reasons that differ from one word to another. Including: that there is more than one statement that is acceptable and preponderant in the interpretation of (Except what your Lord wills) in the two noble verses, such as saying that this exception is not real, but rather what is meant by it is a statement of the absolute, the one who is said in the oneness and the divine.
