The relationship between the differential performance of camouflagers and the differential performance of items in a multiple-choice-type mathematics test

The current study aimed to examine the relationship between the differential performance on a math test from DIF and the differential performance of the items, DDF for camouflagers, the type of multiple choice d. The data of the study consisted of the responses of (1540) students in the fifth grade on (26) multiple-choice items, each of which has four alternatives that measure basic skills in mathematics T. In view of the existence of a statistically significant difference in the performance on the test attributed to each of the student’s gender to detect performance DDFS and the school’s location; Differential software was used for vertebrae and camouflaged subjects according to the Mantel-Hanzel Odds Ratio (MH-LOR) method, according to the Y variable. The results of the analysis showed the presence of (8) paragraphs and (15) camouflaged with differential performance, whether with regard to the gender of the student or the location of the school. With regard to the relationship between the differential performance of the DIF item and the differential performance of its DDF camouflage, the results showed a positive relationship between them. It is expected that the probability of the paragraph being differential performance will increase with the increase in the probability that it will include camouflagers with differential performance.
