During the reign of the king in Iraq (1921-1958) there were serious trials to reform agriculture in Iraq which was under the rule of the Ottomans and then under the occupation of Britain. Accordingly, feudality as a system controls the agricultural sector and helps to the rise of a new social layer which is represented by the owners of agricultural properties. There ownership grows by the time while the farmers lived in a very bad economic, and social circumstances.
