Notre objectif dans cet article intitulé Les défauts du citation A ALMOAJAM ALWASSITE est de réaliser une relecture de la 4ème édition de ALMOAJAM ALWASSITE publiée par l’académie de la langue arabe au Caire, et de s’attarder sur ses lacunes afin de les surmonter et de développer les pro¬chains travaux lexicographiques. Le but de cet article, qui est de nature critique et corrective, est de trouver une réponse aux problématiques liées aux citations, que nous estimons avoir besoin d’un réexamen, dont les plus importantes sont les suivantes : Dans quelle mesure ALMOAJAM ALWASSITE est resté fidèle aux enga¬gements pris à l’introduction, en ce qui concerne la citation? Quelle est la méthodologie utilisée pour fournir des citations et pour les tirer de leurs sources? ALMOAJAM ALWASSITE a-t-il atteint la perfection et la maturité qui per¬mettent à sa quatrième édition d’apparaître en 2004, sans apporter aucune modi¬fication à la troisième édition ? Our objective in this article entitled The defects of the citation in ALMOAJAM ALWASSITE is to re-read the 4th edition of ALMOAJAM ALWASSITE published by the Academy of the Arabic language in Cairo and to examine its shortcomings in order to overcome them and to develop each subsequent lexical work. The purpose of this article, which is of a critical corrective nature, is to find the answer to the problematic of citation, which we believe is in need of a review, including: To what extent has ALMOAJAM ALWASSITE remained faithful to the commitments made at the introduction, with regard to the citation? What is the methodology used to provide citations and to extract them from their sources? Is this work achieved a degree of perfection and maturity, which qualifies its fourth edition published in 2004, without including any modification of the third edition?
