Evaluution of the Image Quality of Point Object: Strehl Rutio

Imaging system with circular pupil is considered. Analytical expression for tlvo important properties of the diffracted field, the intensify distribution and strehl ratio are presented. The effect of both come and spherical aberration are considered. Numerical results in respect of these quantities are shown graphically and discussed.
