Close and Distant Collisions in Bohr’s theory

A theoretical forms for calculating and studying the stopping power has been done taking in the considering two types of collisions. Close collisions are treated as free-coulomb interactions, resulting in the dependence of the energy transfer versus impact parameter, a distant collision are taking into account the binding of target electrons and enter through a classical resonance frequency. The major point in the present work is to extend Bohr formula when taking the two types of collisions.
