Using airway occlusion method, the variability of human respiratory compliance and airway resistance in five athletes (19 to 20 year of age) has been studied. The results indicated that the respiratory compliance has large value compare with that in normal subjects, while the respiratory airway resistance has, approximately, the same levels.
