Effect of Nickel salt on electrical properties of polymethylmethacrylate

The effect of Nickel salt addition on electrical properties of PMMA has been investigated. The (PMMA films with Nickel salt additive prepared with different percentages (1، 2، 3، 4) wt% and with fixed thickness (130 ±5 ) Microns. The experimental results showed that the DC electrical conductivity is increased by several orders of magnitude with increasing salt content and applied temperature ranged from (30 -100) oC. The activation energy is also determined and accordingly found to be decreased with increasing salt concentrations.
