Crystals of high purity potassium chloride were irradiated with gamma rays (Co- 60). After irradiation the thermolumubescence properties were investigated from ambient room temperature to 400 °C. four main theroluminescence peaks were found he fading hal-lives were calculated and also its range was found to very from second to weeks.
