    The convective parameters such as condensation level (CCL), temperature (TC) and unstable layer depth (CUL) are graphically calculated to study the characteristics for convective clouds over Baghdad city. To perform this research, some observational data came from weather Baghdad station for three months of spring season of 1990 were used. These data are surface maximum temperature (Tmax) and surface dew-point temperature as well as vertical air temperature and dew-point temperature measured by radiosonde. This study was mainly focused on the determination of position of CCL and thickness of CUL. In addition, some empirical relationships were derived when plotting these parameters each other and against Tmax. The results of analysis for the above parameters show that the CCL and TC have mostly same behavior, linearly vary with each other and linearly related to Tmax, while the depth of CUL nonlinearly varies with Tmax.
