Optical Properties Modifiction of Poly(vinyl chlride)by ethyl xanthate metal chelate complexes additives.

The present study focused on the modification of the optical properties of poly(vinyl chloride) films with ethyle xanthete chelate complexes,namly:- Bis(ethyl xanthato)Zinc( );Zn(etx)2, by preparing the composites with different percentage(1,2,3)wt% of this additive.the optical data are analyzed and interpreted in term of the theory of phonon assisted electronic transition it is observed that energy gap is affected by doping and it decreases as the metal complexes content is increase.
