Breast cancer diagnosis using back-propagation neural network

Breast cancer is the second largest cause of cancer death among women. In this paper back- propagation algorithm is used to diagnose breast cancer disease. The network is trained using data base of (500) patients record. On the basis of this trained network, when unknown data is entered by a doctor, the system will predict the existence of breast cancer or not.
