A study of digital dermatoglyphics In population of Dyala Province

Finger patterns were collected from (50) unrelated healthy males and (50) un related healthy females (15-50 years old). These finger prints were analyzed qualitatively by examined finger prints and pattern intensity index, the pattern frequency were approximately similar. In quantitative analysis TRC(Total Ridge Counts) and ARC(Absolute Ridge Counts) has been collected, TRC values were (153 .22) in males and (150.45) in females, while ARC values were (213.07) and (206.97) in males and females respectively. Frequency distribution of TRC and bimanual difference have been perfonned also. The present results generally show huge different results when compared with Iraqi populations , and also this work aims to study the biological structure in this vital regions of lraq.
