Younis, Angham Hussien. The Structure of Architecture in Iraq : An Analytical Study. (Ph.D.Dissertation)-Baghdad: AL-Mustansiriyah University, 2005. This study aims to find the information structure in Architecture in Iraq by analyze the Iraqi literature in architecture studies. The following hypotheses are considered: 1. There are objective relations between architecture engineering and other sciences, such as other engineering, humanities and social sciences. 2. There is investment of architectural engineering studies in the governmental activities. The study has followed the survey-analysis method; during the period 1959-2002. The study community 673 researches, which consisted of 356 M. Sc. theses, 37 Ph.D. dissertations, 225 articles in published in engineering scientific periodicals and 55 researches presented in conferences and engineering scientific symposia. The following results have been found: 3. The number of the terms in the study community is (1946) terms. 4. The architecture design is the most prominent subject in the theses, periodical articles, and conference papers. 5. The highest number of approved university theses was that of Baghdad University which was 177 theses with percentage of 49.72%. 6. The largest publishing periodical of architectural engineering articles is Journal of Engineering and Technology followed by the Iraqi Journal of Architectural Engineering.
