    Written corrective feedback is of a crucial role to theimprovement of students’ writings.Every time their writingteachers provided them with the feedback, students should nothesitate to make use of it to develop their writing. This studydiscusses the effects of the different types of written correctivefeedback in enhancing students’ writing and at finding out theappropriate type of written corrective feedback to be used.This is done through comparing the results of the effects ofthree types of corrective feedback on students’ writtenproductions. The hypothesis is that ifstudents are providedwith un-coded written feedback, coded written feedback, andpeer feedback this would result in effective results on thewriting performances of students who receive un-codedcorrective feedback in comparison to those who receive codedfeedback and peer feedback. To test the validity of thishypothesis, the researcher opted for a questionnaire, directedto teachers of writing in the department of Letters and EnglishLanguage, at the University of Constantine 1.
