اثر تطبيق الليزر الطري في الغشاء المخاطي الفموي الطبيعي عند الاحياء (الهامستر السوري)

Background & Objective: several articles on animal model and laboratory investigations Indicate that soft laser induce cellular and tissue motivation and heals wounds. Ami of the study: to investigate histological modification in oral squamous non-keratinized epithelium upon applying soft laser in several doses and studding the alteration in keratinization and the possibility to have neoplastic transformation. Material and Methods: we used low laser device (Diobeam Laser-Light Canada) , on the Syrian hamsters, for two weeks, histological samples were harvested on week 1,2,3,4,6,and 12, they were stained by H&E and examined in oral histology and pathology department in dental school , Damascus university. Results: applying Soft Laser on Hamsters mucosa induced slight keratinization starting from the third month with the laser group of 1.5 seconds, and earlier starting from the sixth week in the group of 3 seconds. Conclusion: our study showed the appearance of keratinization strating from week 6 which recommends to expand the histological study into immunohistochemistry investigations to reveal the exact impact on the ultra-cellular structure if existed
