مشاركة مضادات الهيستامين مع الديكساميثازون في معالجة الالتهاب عند حيوانات التجربة

Background & Objective: Dexamethasone is concerned commonly as anti-inflammatory and anti-asthma with greater effect than anti-histaminic drugs such as loratadine and cyproheptadine. Aim of the study: Study of the probability of synergism between loratadine or cyproheptadine with dexamethazon so that it may contributes in reducing the dexamethazon doses , then reducing its adverse effects in human health. Materials & Methods: carrageenan sodium , Freund's complete adjuvant , Egg albumin grade II. Result: therapy by dexamethazon with loratadine or cyproheptadine has significant effect against inflammation , which is attributed partly to the inhibitive effect of prostaglandins E2 , and significant effect against asthma . These drugs are used with each others with doses equaled to half of the doses when these drugs are used alone. Conclusion: this design of the obtained results may reduces the harmful effects and the side effects of dexamethazon accompanying with the same effect as anti- inflammation , and perhaps with better effect in the coming study
